was born in Clintonville NY, Marriage
certificate says Ausable. At the time of his marriage Charles was a
farmer in Jay, NY, later a porter and a gardener.
He and Charlotte lived in Keesville, NY for a while. That's where Ida
went to school.
According to Charlotte's death certificate, she and Charles were from
Grover, NY. He died on Sep 16 1899 in Burlington VT. He was married to Charlotte
"Lottie" THACKER on Sep 13 1875 in Ausable NY (?).
