Lancaster means business and through Lancaster's town offices exists an Economic Development component headed by Grant Administrator, Lisa Maxwell. Today more than ever Lancaster has a willingness to work with businesses. The purpose of this Economic Development component is to assist new or existing businesses in the area of financing, education, housing, labor and available business sites. The Grant Administrator will help to streamline the process of meeting all town thresholds.
Lancaster recently acquired a 50 acre parcel of land which will be home to the Lancaster Business Park. Accessible of Rt. 3 the park features include:
- Three local Internet Providers
- 3-phase power
- Proposed natural gas
- Local Internet servers
- Fiber optics
- New water and sewer lines
- Beside an active railroad
These features combined with support staff will streamline the business relocation and retention program.
