Sometimes there comes a point in time when you have an awakening. Newt Gingrich getting C-130s built in his district for "pork" that the USAF didn't want. Trent Lott getting the same C-130s placed in a base in his district to provide more pork. The military is scraping the bottom to try to remain operational while of all things. Republicans stand in the way by wasting money to buy votes. Isn't this how Democrats are supposed to behave?

Then in a commercial, Charlie Bass crows about being proud of having the endorsement of the League of Conservation voters? One of the anti-property rights organizations trying to take away our freedoms. I have been thinking of becoming a Libertarian for many years. These revelations were the last straws that "broke the camel's back" and pushed me over the edge.

Folks are getting sick of seeing our freedoms and money stolen from us by the folks in Washington and Concord.

I don't smoke or grow pot as I can't stand the smell of the stuff when it's burned any more than I can stand the stench of cigarrettes. But isn't it time we legalized it for those who do like the stuff? I see people drinking alcohol and becoming violent yet folks puffing pot mellowing out. Seems like a good way to reduce domestic and other violence if you ask me. We are throwing money down a rat hole going after pot when we should be concentrating on hard drugs that can really cause harm.

The Libertarians are for fixing these problems, returning our freedoms and money to us (or not stealing them in the first place). Why don't you follow the links below and learn more. You'll find a short quiz on a couple of their pages. Be sure to take it! You might be surprised at the results.
